Course Long Care

Get total cover for your laptop while you’re at university.
Course Long Care means just that: we’ll look after your computer, and make sure it’s working for you throughout your time at university. If you get your computer from us, this will be included as part of your DSA award.

Software and hardware issues are all covered with our Course Long Cover. We also cover any warranty issues, so if your laptop is stolen or damaged, we are the only ones you’ll have to call.

For equipment supplied from 1st October 2018 onwards please go to www.specialty-risks.com/dsa-claims

Before any work is undertaken, you are responsible for ensuring that you contact the Claims Office for authorisation.

Exclusions and Restrictions:

  • Invate is not responsible for any loss of data whatsoever
  • Batteries are excluded from your policy
  • Equipment was being used by a third party
  • You have not taken reasonable care with your equipment
  • You have made changes to the recovery setup
  • If the equipment is stolen, Invate will provide loan equipment once a valid claim has been accepted and until the new equipment is available.
